Not sure if [H]ot, but if you can't wait for GTX 3xxx/Big Navi series, these should be 5700XT/2070 Super speed for $399.99. Not sure on shipping...

They have triple fan as well as founders with blower fan.

$400? Wouldn't that buy a new AMD GPU or new nVidia GPU that's coming out in the next handful of weeks??

I'm not exactly sure but you would think $400 would get you a new GPU that should be faster than the 1080 ti..

I loved my 1080 Ti ... probably still VERY powerful for 1080p content.

I don't think there is any way to know at this point....

Then there are also the following questions:
1) Driver issues on new architecture?
2) Availability?
3) Pricing for 1080Ti performance?
 
If rumors are to be believed, a new 8GB 3060 will cost around $400.

I also have a 1080 Ti and am considering a 3070 or 3080 variant depending on the specs and price.

I've got a 2080 super, and other than DLSS and raytracing (what little of it there is), I'm hard pressed to find a difference at 4K compared to my old 1080 Ti. (Note: I'm sure there are some - yet even so, I'm glad that I got that 2080 Super for free because if I paid for that side grade, I'd actually be a bit pissed. Also, they both are/were under the same water cooler and overclocked heavily - not stock. The 1080Ti was a helluva card because Nvidia blinked when AMD talked big and Nvidia thought they'd have to compete).

All that said, if you can find a 2070 super for $400 that would be a better option due to having a better warranty. But I don't think they go for less than $500 new, so a 1080 Ti for $400 isn't bad since the performance is still great, and depending on the game and overclock, close enough to a 2080 super (in niche cases, faster sometimes).

Thanks for posting. $400 is a great deal I think. I remember waiting outside Microcenter 4+ years ago early EARLY in the morning to get mine. Did the same with the 2080 Ti. Will do the same with the new 3090.

With 24gb's of DDR6 ... I am not sure how this will be used. I have a new LG OLED C9 55" that I absolutely love. Maybe the 4K 120hz gaming with use a lot of video ram. Not sure.

If the 3060 8gb is on par with the 1080ti/2070 super I would be shocked if nvidia sells it for $400. Keep in mind this thread is a deal for $400 for used/refurb card that is several years old now. New 2070 supers are what like $529 or so for the cheapest ones on newegg, etc.

Do you really think Nvidia would undercut themselves that much? They never have before.
 
What card are they recommending for 1440p 144hz? Not in a rush to buy but just wondering; I have not upgraded since my R9 390 and I dont think its up to the task for my new 144hz 1440p monitor.

I game at 1440p, and my monitor is gsync @ 165hz max. Most games do well to stay above 100, but with all the eye candy there are plenty that will struggle to stay over 100fps. Even GTA V still has plenty of moments in that area, as low as 60fps if you can believe it. No mods either, just vanilla with the details mostly maxed (I know I have a few things less than max but I can't recall right now.) I wouldn't go any lower than a 1080 ti for 1440p high refresh, especially if you aren't using a variable refresh rate monitor.
