same, if i get it from the egg then i know i can sleep at night unlike some people who bought it from buy.com, which turns out sucks
 
You guys think they will get the cards back in stock sometime this month at least? I want to be able to mail that damn Mail-in-Rebate in. Thats my biggest worry, that I'll get screwed with my m.i.r.

I ordered and received my 8800GTS via this deal. Buy.com website currently shows the 640-P2-N821-AR as in stock.
 
I ordered and received mine via this deal with no issues. I was surprised that this thread was still alive, because the deal is dead, and was surprised to see all the problems...weird.

OOOOHH!!!

Buy.com is going to get an ear-full about this... now they have no reason to resend my graphics card. But I will call them AFTER FedEx completes its trace of the package. I think they called off the trace last time.
 
This is so retarded. They told me that they would notify me asap when the product was back in stock. Now the item is back in stock and of course they don't notify me...*shocker*

Now I'm going to be on their ass about getting my product shipped pronto.

My order was showing "On Order" this morning but has now switched to shipped. Hopefully your order will ship soon.
 
Looks like mine shipped as well... That's a relief.. Though now I have to watch my bank account drop by $300 again.. *pain*
 
got mine yesterday after fedex failed to deliver it to the correct address 3 times i had to go get it at 10pm at night.

Card works perfect registered with EVGA and have my rebate ready to send out tomorrow.
 
Sent my rebate off yesterday. I hate rebates - but for $30 I guess it's worth the hassle. I just hope I don't get screwed on it.
 
Order on the May 25th, recieved on June 6th. Box is damaged but the green PCB looks just fine. I really don't like Buy.com for service at all. If this was at the egg, I would have had it a week ago.

The shipping box was owned pretty hard for me too. There was a huge gash in the side, though the box inside seemed untouched. I took a cameraphone pic when I first got it, in case the card was damaged.

My friend picked up the box and said 'Hey, package for you'... didn't know what it was, and THREW it to me across the room. I nearly had a heart attack.

But I got a green PCB, it's installed, up and running.. everything seems A-OK! 53C idle. I want to pull off the HSF and apply some Ceramique, but it looks like a royal pain..
 
i got my rebate two days ago i think. same as above two with the little postcard thing.
 
you can get them for 399 after 30 MIR at compusa right now.

i got mine last week from there with a employee discount for 382
 
I recieved my rebate on Monday. Not too bad, just over Month to receive the rebate.
