Does anybody have a picture of their evga 790i motherboard with zalman cpu cooler installed? Trying to figure out if it will work on this motherboard, ive heard some motherboards you cant install that zalamn cooler. (that circular one with copper fins and blue led)

evga 790i + zalman cpu cooler?

I have a XFX 790i board and am running the Zalman 9700 fine. I assume that since both the XFX and eVGA are nVidia reference boards, what works on one should also on the other. Sorry no pictures, don't really have convenient access to a digicam.

I have essentially the same question. It sure would be nice to hear from anyone who has resolved which CPU coolers will fit or won't fit on the 790i Ultra, or has seen a good solution to the fit issue (especially, in combination with Corsair XMS3 DHX ram which is rather tall).

It shows four high-end coolers capable of being mounted on the XFX 790i Ultra - the Thermalright Ultra-120, Tower120, Zalman CNPS9700, and ZEROtherm NV120. Pictures are included.
