Anyone know how the GD line stacks up or who the OEM is? Debated picking a few up for mining rigs but its back to $85 now.

I've seen a few teardowns of them. There are tons of different hardware revisions, even within the same model depending on when it was manufactured. These aren't an "A" class power supply like Seasonic. One teardown I saw showed where the advertising claimed all Japanese high quality capacitors, but only one capacitor inside was Japanese whereas the rest were cheaper Chinese caps. You probably can't rely on reviews, since there are so many variances of the hardware rev.

It does have a 5 year warranty. For a low/mid range build, it would probably be fine.
 
$83 price for me. i almost bought one on impulse. kind of think my >10 year old cooler-master is under-powered and also crudding the bed.
