Looking at upgrading from mcafee to nod32 just wondering if its better to get the smart security package while im at it? I think the only advantage would be the spam filter ?

    Thanks

Depends, do you need the spam filtering in your mail client? Do you have a hardware firewall sitting in between your computer and DSL/Cable Modem? If you have a hardware firewall/NAT device then I wouldn't bother with it. The regular AV is all you should need.

To add to Captian, just run the stock Windows Software firewall with NOD32 if you have a hardware firewall (such as a router). If you don't have a hardware firewall, then the Smart Security may be worth the extra price.
