Surprised they aren't sold out by now. A $2000 phone for $400.

I don't see the appeal of foldable phones right now. These are at least cheap, but the screens are way too easy to destroy since it's all plastic and that giant gap where it folds makes it incredibly easy for dirt or anything to get stuck in the folding mechanism forever.

Edit: Also....This company is suuuuuuper fucking shady. Don't buy from them.

I don't see how they are any shadier than other massive companies trying to sell you their spy devices.

I like how they said they bought up returned phones... really open box items of $2000 phone for way less than $400? (don't forget they need to make a profit after putting in all their work), I was thinking someone hijacked some container ship from China or something.

That said, what's the feasibility of completely wiping the OS clean and replacing it with Samsung's defacto one? Would suck if you hear down the road "the reason Escobar Inc made money on these, is they were skimming bank accounts with spyware embedded in all their phones whenever someone used a credit card or logged into their bank account...."

Oh look, another folding phone for early adopters.
Cell Wars - Attack of the Folds

Keep the fold guys, I take specs before fashion.

What about a company called Escobar seems at all shady or untrustworthy?

Right... and you can only pay by direct bank transfer or cryptocurrency (see below). TOTALLY not a scam at all. Please go ahead and enter your bank account numbers into a site owned by a drug lord. Its not like the cartel kills people, robs people, or steals things. Roberto Escobar is also totally not the same person who tried to jump in on the bitcoin craze by an ICO of a currency he made up called dietbitcoin (sold for $2 now worthless)... Its not like he has a long history of scamming people (like with the Elon Musk flamethrower with an escobar sticker that never shipped)... you will totally get your product after he gets your non-refundable bank transfer or crypto.
