ESA accidentally doxxed every journalist registered for E3

The so-called “real” game journalists are too busy bitching about GamerGate and blaming the woman that originally reported on this story to actually take the time to do their job and report on this.
Well it's two sides of the same coin. One side is bitching about gamergate and toxic gamers, the other side is reading news articles that someone else written on a camera*. Games journalism is dead, let's face it.

*or while gameplay footage runs on a loop, that's probably not even theirs.

I’ll take the Youtubers over traditional media any day at this point. They all have their issues but the handful I watch actually give a shit about talking about stuff like this and not shooting the messenger. One dumbfuck at Kotaku blamed the original reporter for the info getting out despite the file being up for months before the ESA did anything and the reporter waiting for the ESA to take it down before reporting. And yet the traditional journalists leap to the defense of the ESA and try to blame anyone else.

Gamergate is still a thing?

Totally depends on what camp you’re in. Completely insane, irrational, highly volatile and emotional people who believe they are victims then yes. If that’s not you then no.
