Error Code 80010006 while updating to 3.30

Ok I have two ps3s, one 60gb and one 40gb that just got stuck with the error code 8001006. And now the video and audio wont work on the 60gb. And I cant get into the safemode for either of them. Can anyone help?!
 
Have you tried posting on the Playstation forums? You might have better luck over there.
 
Yeah I was the last post on that link that guy put up. I got the 40gb into safemode last night and tried to update the softwre from there and then it gave me a new error 8002f281. And now its back to no screen.

Oh. I'm at work and can't access the link. Does Sony have a PS3 tech support number you could call?
 
Oh my bad, Imma start a thread in the playstation forums to see how many people got bricked. I might try and call them but I doubt they can help.
