ENERMAX, the maker of high-performance PC hardware components, presents the ETS-T50 AXE series, the flagship air cooler equipped with 5x 6mm heat pipes. This high performance cooler lineup features 7 unique patents and supports 250W TDP. Incredible 7-patent blizzard master:
  • Patented Dust Free Rotation (DFR) technology for a self-cleaning solution of the fan and the radiator
  • Patented Pressure Differential Flow (PDF) design to increase 15% more airflow
  • Patented Vortex Generator Flow (VGF) design increases air convection in-between the fins
  • Patented Heat-pipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology improves thermal conductivity and removes the CPU hotspots rapidly
  • Patented Air Guide design with 360o rotatable grill for preferred airflow direction adjustment
  • Patented Twister Bearing fan technology for silent operation and longer lifespan
  • Patented Circular-type LED fan for the utmost eye-catching effect
Stunning lighting effects with excellent cooling performance. ETS-T50 AXE, the high-performance CPU cooler, is available in two colors, black and white. The black T50 (ETS-T50A-BVT) comes with ENERMAX patented VEGAS fan with 3-color LED, featuring Thermal Conductive Coating (TCC) in black. On the other hand, the white T50 (ETS-T50A-WVS) with TCC in white incorporates with ENERMAX VEGAS fan with white LED.

I like the lighting effects. I wonder how good it'd be. Although, I'd much rather just have fans. I'm already watercooled

Oh my god....I think that just made me hard....that looks amazing!

There has been zip in performance improvements for cooling radiators for years. What they are doing in a standard pressed fin offset which act as turbulence to which increases fresh (evenly mixed air temp) airflow. It also acts as spacing standoff supports for stacking. Now the split air design is a bit more clever as is looks to put fresh airflow over the rear heat pipes therefore allowing for a greater temperature delta. (Newtons law of cooling) However the best solution would be to turn the heat pipe 90 degrees from the fan and stagger the rear set. But then component space limitations come into play.

And any type of coating on fins does NOT enhance performance. In fact it lowers it. (It may enhance corrosion resistance...which typically isn't a problem in our cases)

After 30 seconds of content free guitar riffs I stopped watching. Heat-pipe coolers haven't seen a marked increase in perf in years. I don't expect this to be any different.

I wonder how much better that will be over my TRUE 120 with 2xNoctua 120mm fans .
That ancient cooler from several years ago still perform better than these brand new ones. So there is still no reason to upgrade lol Not to mention that flashy fan will look silly after half of it is malfunctioning lol

I don't think my TRUE is going anywhere anytime soon! Eww, I don't do illuminated fans. :)
