I had said heat gun for three years and the fan motor died (It looked like a toy DC motor )
So I am in the market for a new heat-gun
I use it to shrink heatshrink tubing and to remove parts off of dead PC boards (Probably not a good idea because of the fumes I know but I use a respirator mask) I am looking to spend $50 for a quality tool used is OK
so is there any models to look out for? Any with a "real" fan motor in it? (Not a toy DC motor) How do they make a toy motor run on 120VAC anyway?
Thanks
