Elder Scrolls Online Gold Edition

I noticed this pop up on steam, but was surprised to see no reviews or even a forum for it? I've heard Elder Scrolls Online has had it's fair share of criticism in the past.. Is the criticism warranted, or is ESO just the victim of mob mentality? I got an uneasy feeling in the back of my head saying "IT'S A TRAP!"
