Elder Scrolls Oblivion how to drop items?

What the heck am I missing here? My character is over burderned and I can't figure out how to drop items so he can move.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever been stuck with lol

yeah. shift+click, or just click and hold the button down on an item you want to drop

it worked out thanks very much I don't have the manual the box is packed away from moving
