No, the game is still releasing on the 25th. From is a Japanese company, and it's releasing the morning of the 25th in Japan.Wow FROM moved the release date back to the 24th they must know Poly and Comix are the only true Dark Souls fans out there.
I'll be able to play then this weekend for a few hours.

Let people do what they’d like. You don’t have to click play, and you can read the video description.relax with the spoiler videos...play the game yourself instead of watching other people playing the game
I would be thrilled to find out he's actually a competent gamer and not another DarkSydePhil.I would watch Comixbooks if he streamed this game on twitch.

Many people enjoy watching games. In fact if you dig into how twitch has grown, you may be surprised. People find joy all kinds of ways with video games. It may not be your cup of tea but it’s no reason to be negative towards people who do enjoy it.
It’s a thumbnail. Don’t click play. I don’t have to write paragraphs of repetitive words to convey that.it's basic common sense and decency not to give out spoilers prior to release (for games, movies, TV shows, books)...even From Software released a message yesterday asking players not to spoil things for others...I didn't watch the video but the thumbnail and title give away things...if someone wants to view spoilers then fine but don't go ruining other people's enjoyment of exploration and discovery...or at the very least put it in spoiler tags for the first few weeks of release
there are tons of spoilers out in the wild for this game and some people would like to remain unsullied going in...what a silly response- "no one is forcing you to look at the video and I should just read the video description"...sure that would be fine if those didn't give away spoilers as well...that's like saying a few days before Empire Strikes Back is released- "it's OK to release a video with the title 'Darth Vader is Luke's father' because you don't have to watch the video"
Yeah I try to avoid literally everything until I play a game or watch a movie I've been waiting for. Also, avoid garbage websites like Polygon and Kotaku as they literally put spoilers in their headlines and I hope their servers and all back up data spontaneously combust. My body is ready. Fuck yo spoilers I have remained virgin for the elden ring. Have seen basically nothing so far.
Live from Walmart the wait.....
Yep. Last I checked, thumbnails with a title don't usually contain spoilers... that one sure didn't.It’s a thumbnail. Don’t click play. I don’t have to write paragraphs of repetitive words to convey that.
About 47GB.Steam pre-load is live.
The Review Embargo is set to end at 10:00 AM EST so only 1 hour and 17 minutes from this post!
They just don't miss.Elden Ring review- A new benchmark for open-world games
Elden Ring is a spectacle and a marvel to behold...although there are some issues, the overall experience remains deeply engaging...it's one of the best open-world games I have ever played
there are some notable performance problems...to be fair, I can achieve 50-60 fps with an Intel 10900K, Nvidia RTX 3080, and 32 GB RAM, all while playing on the highest settings at 4K resolution...unfortunately, micro stutters and framerate drops can be fairly troublesome...they only last a split second, but they’re sometimes jarring when they occur as I’m crossing cliffside paths or fighting bosses...
Score: 10

it'll be packed with people. this will be from's most popular game to date, so if you want jolly cooperation or invasion (pvp) antics you will be able to do so to your heart's contentNew to Souls games... Is the multiplayer component pretty popular (as in, easy to find help) or do players shun it because it's "too easy, git gud"?
Yeah, looks like I'll be picking up this title - on the fence whether to pick up the PC or PS5 version. I'll read some performance reviews of both versions later and make a decision; I'm leaning towards PS5 as I'm fine playing this style of game with a controller and I really like consoles 'hibernation'/instant on feature (or whatever they call it on Playstation).
aww, i hate stuttering issues, i sincerely hope it will be fixed for day one...When it comes to visuals, Elden Ring looks way ahead of the previous games from the studio...thanks to the fantastic sense of scale and the huge draw distance, character models, textures, and lighting, the open-world segments look great...there are some strange visual issues with vegetation's shadows, but they are more or less noticeable depending on what the player is doing
what is apparent, in the PC version of the game at least, are some performance drops in the open areas...they happen mainly in the starting Limgrave area, but thankfully they are not as frequent in other areas and are seemingly absent in dungeons, although they may still occur if both player and enemy start using magic spells...the stuttering issues don't seem to be related to the specs of the system running the game, as I experienced them at every resolution and not just at 4K...the machine used for the test (i7-10700 CPU, RTX 3070, 16 GB RAM) is way above the recommended specs listed by the developer, too
The day one patch, which promises further tuning, was not available in time for the review, so there is the chance that these stuttering issues may be solved by the time the game launches...
