Hi

For the same price ($2000 canadian with taxes), you take the Eizo or the Nec

For photoshop. Not for game.

I have spyder 2 and x-rite dpt94 for calibration

...s-pva vs h-ips etc...

The pitch of the 26" nec is to big for picture or it's ok (crisp)???

thanks for your opinion.

For photo editing alone I would go with the 26 inch. Its bigger for the same cost and has a wider color gamut 92% vs 72%. The pixel pitch is still lower than a 19 inch.

pretty good toss up there:D

the Eizo has a higher contrast ratio but the NEC covers more gamut - looks like the NEC will be better for strictly photo work as i just looked at both models.
They are both sweet monitors

Thanks

I have order the NEC, I will receive friday.

First impression this week-end

Thanks again.

But interesting the new Eizo cg241w...

A+

Either way you are likely to be happy. I wish folks would stop suggesting the 92% gamut as a selling point as it doesn't do what they think it does but all the same, two fine monitors. Curious to hear your impressions.:D

I don't know how you can say that. It depends on what "they" think it does, doesn't it?

If you are into serious photo work, don't you probably shoot in Raw and convert to work AdobeRGB colorspace, so a wide color gamut on the monitor is surely a good thing? Or am I missing something?

Cheers

Chippy
