Educate me on bonding vs load balancing

First we would need to know which DSL technology. Most likely ADSL2+, but there are numerous variants.
A lot of DSL modem do support various technologies, but I don't believe I've seen a single modem that supports them all.

The $50ish Edgerouter X has plenty of performance for 2xDSL. Not that $50 is a big difference compared to the monthly charges, of course.

I'd like to add that the edgerouter is a very nice little device. It DOES fall over under heavy rulesets but homeusers/streamers won't have that.

It is supposed to have load balancing as well but I haven't tried it.

So the address has been updated with 911 and postal service. Still having issues with the address with centurylink.

I don't know how to look up what DSL protocol they are using. Area code 75789.

Or is there a "great" modem that is compatible with most?
