e6400 with VSTA775 crashing in games

im running:

windows xp sp2
intel e6400 at default speed, with stock cooler
ASRock vsta775
1GIG DDR3200, (mismatched 512's could this be a problem?)
creative soundblaster 2 soundcard
geforce agp 6800gt at default

i just replaced my older P4 northwood and a 478 motherboard, with the conroe and the mobo... i didnt reformat, but i was careful to unintall all the chipset drivers before hand.

running windows and normal programs are fine, but playing HL2 or Lineage 2 for more than 15 minutes or more makes it freezes..

what driver version are you using on the geforce some of em are pretty bad

93.71 forceware

havent had muh problems with that version.if you want try 84.21 just incase.its old but very stable.nvidia have had lots of problems with there drivers crashing in games.

try that, still crashes, even driver cleaned it...
