I'll be reading the posts, as I have a lot to learn...

Oh, BTW... saw your "profile"...I'm a former tennis player(bad shoulder...can't serve anymore), and belong to our local table tennis club...

Good choice of drive.. tennis is kinda out right now here.. too rainy :p
 
So i just got a NEC 3550A and 100pk of Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's from that hot deals thread and have started to burn some dvds.

But what should i use to label the dvds? A Sharpie?

It seems like i read something about markers/pens without acid or something in them that wouldnt hurt the disks over time. Would someone mind linking what/where these are?

I have seen a few sites that show what is good media and what is garbage media. I cannot find those links anymore. Maybe put them is this sticky?
