So I am hearing different responses when searching and until my OC broke I was assuming statement A, but I am not sure if that is correct or if statement B is correct.

Preface: Socket 775 Intel 2 Core Duo/Quads 1333 mhz FSB quad pumped on DDR3.

A. DDR3 1333 for example sakes is ran at 667 x 2 to equal 1333 mhz. Similar to DDR2 when in this mode vs a processor FSB of 333 mhz quad pumped DDR3 runs at a 1 to 2 ratio. (333x4 chip FSB to 667x2 memory)

B. Same scenario as A, with the exception that DDR3 is actually quad pumped and runs at 333 x 4 and regardless of what CPUZ reports it actually is in a 1:1 mode with chip FSB. Confused.

Thanks.
