Dual monitor, auto adjust on turn off.

Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has some insight on this one.

With my 2x3008wfps, when I turn off the secondary monitor, it would automatically adjust itself to "projector only" and when I turn it back on, it would auto-adjust back to "extend". But for some odd reason, on my 2 x u3011s - it doesn't do that any more.

Any ideas?

Sorry, what do you mean by "projector only"? Is it because that's what your computer recognized the 3011?

What connection were you using on the original monitors? What are you using now? If there is a difference, the answer may lie in there.

I am only speculating. Usually the video card is "told" that the monitor is not on (or not there) and stops sending it a signal. Somehow that messages isn't being broadcast, or it isn't reaching the video card. I don't know why though.
