Dual Layer DVD burners

So what is available now or soon for Dual Layer DVD burners? And what should one look for when choosing one?
Will the DVD burned with these be compatible with current DVD players that support the -/+ format?

You want a dual layer burner that does both formats. That way, your compatible with everything.

The Lite-On 812S can be modded into the 832S(double-layer), and the NEC2500 can be modded into the 2510 (double layer too.). I'd wait though.. media is 15$ a piece at Best Buy (http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=16570), and @ 2.4X, it takes 45 minutes to write one disc.
