I am at a remote site, with two satellite connections to the 'net, running on two different corporate networks (don't ask). Both will connect to the internet, one is behind a vpn to a proxy down south, the other is direct. The problem is when running dual-nic, one plugged into each network, all the file sharing / apps work as they should, but the internet connection is only going through the nic attached to the vpn. If that connection fails, it does not seem to fail over onto the other connection, which is still up. All systems are winxp pro sp2, gigabit or 100mbit in the office.
Thanks

shameless bump....
does anybody know how to force a 'net connection through one nic/connection vs. the other?

only thing i can think of - change the adapter priority or remove the default gateway on the adapter you don't want to use.
