Dual display with LCD and CRT

This is possible right? Am I just retarded? Last time I had dual display I remember having each monitor set at a custom resolution and it worked fine. Now I'm trying to have both working and the only options I can get in nView settings are clone, vertical, horizontal, and single display. The horizontal option only stretches the 1680x1050 resolution of the lcd over to the crt. Isn't it possible to keep the lcd 1680x1050 and make the CRT a seperate screen at 1600x1200?
 
I DISTINCTLY remember an "extend screen to second monitor' option you could uncheck. Then each monitor could run at seperate resolutions. Where the hell has this option gone?
