This is definitely the drone video of the day. Whew!
lol. SAVE THE DRONE!!!
They not be cheap.... I probably would have done the same thing.
Wait, I have (not for a drone, but for other very expensive gear)
Damn it, only if the water was deeper!
He should instead get a kite.
Definitely, that's a ~$700 drone and ~$400 Go Pro up there at the mercy of mother nature and science. Good save.
So ability to swim is a requirement for droning. The more you know!
umm shouldn't it be human 1?
the stupid drone was returning itself to water.
The human is also stupid for risking his body to save a toy. Those propels can cause serious damage.
It's like Band of Brothers, but with an ROV.
Dang, was that an alligator in the background at 1:26 in the video ?
Looks like it to me.
Yea man either a gator or a large snake. Do they have gators or crocs in Europe? At least it looks like Europe.
Damn that was close lol.
Look again, it's 2 ducks
Neither, two green necked mallard ducks.
It is certainly ducks. People with coats on, overcast and the area just does not seem right for gators. Regardless, they would have not been in the water on a day like this. It did take a few views to catch the ducks though.
That's not a drone video.
This is a drone video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeE0DrmMgLw
Beware the European Killer Ducks!
What I want to know is did he remember to take his expensive phone out of his pocket before jumping in that water?
Every time i see a video like that, i always wonder what kind of batteries they have and how many flights they get out of it.
I hope he didn't carry a smartphone in his back pocket.
I'll see your drone video and raise you this tricopter video
Lithium-Polymer. I think the Phantom 2 Visions get like 30 minutes off their stock battery. My cheap Syma X5C gets like 8 minutes off it's tiny 500 mAh battery.
*15-20 minutes, not 30.
That was a clutch save!
If you pull more power than the lipo can handle, they tend to bloat. Performance starts going down after that happens.
