Hi,
A friend of mine recently purchased a Syntax AP7600 laptop with ATI Mobility M10 GPU. The problems include inconsistent frame rates, artifacts, and just general buggyness. We've tried the manufacturer drivers (AGP miniport, standard ATI driver) off included cd. We have also tried stand-alone reference drivers from x-random websites. The bios contains no AGP settings. 8x AGP has been selected through a utility on included cd. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Only thing I can think of now is someone has dealt with this issue.

P.S. The chipset is SiS 648FX + SiS963 || Also running WinXP
