This is my first time actually using templates (never had very large sites before", I created it just fine, however when i edit the template it puts the following in front of all my links, "templates/" and then the rest of the link i edit in the template. It does this for my .css loading links and is throwing a bunch of stuff off.

Any clue on how to stop it from putting the template/ in?

I haven't had to use templates in a long time... only one client had their site originally designed with them.

I think there is some setting in the Site properties that sets the location of the template relative to the files in the site. Thats probably what is screwing it up, but I'm not 100% sure since I haven't dealt with them in years.

In the site management in Dreamweaver i have it set as "g:\folder\root\" but it is directing to "g:\folder\root\template"

Finally figured it out. For everyone in the future.

When making links in a Dreamweaver template, you must use the "browse" for link target, you can not type the link in or this will mess up the code because of folder paths.

I guess this can be closed.
