DoW: Steel Legion mod

For those of you who, like myself, are still playing Dawn of War, the Steel Legion team has finally released version 1.00 of their mod. Just in time to compete with the Winter Assault expansion pack. There are quite a number of changes/tweaks in addition to the entire Steel Legion army. Lots of troops and LOTS of tanks, including the . New support Rhinos for the Marines and some new stuff for the Orks. The AI is also much more capable. I spent a couple hours playing with the mod last night and I am impressed. [NOTE: It does work with both 1.3 and 1.4. The 1.4 version does not have sergeants for the squads and the artillery is not directly accessible from the squads but still functions on its own.]

Even though I think Steel Legion is far superior to WA, I will pick it up. Just playing some Guard-on-Guard battles should be interesting. The extra units will be fun to experiment with. Baneblade here I come!
