dominator vs vengeance?

The dominator RAM is tested to higher standards and designed for systems that are going for higher overclocks. Generally it is supposed to be more stable and able to take higher voltages. Other than that, there isn't much of a difference these days.

For myself, I tend to use Vengeance unless I absolutely need to wring every last MHz out of an overclock.
 
The Dominators are binned higher and tested longer with somewhat more costly heatsink material. (still doesn't justify pricing imo)
 
The pricing is stupid, I bought mine admitedly for the looks. I have always loved how the Dominator series looked. Not gaudy, just slick. Although other companies are catching up in the area of design.
The RAM is great though but I at the end of the day unless you are looking to OC like Crazy then I think Vengeance series RAM is the better choice
 
The dominators are cool because they offer different colored light bars. Now theres some ram that has RBG capabilities, linus tech tips show cased it this weekend.
 
i'm using the dominators and they're rock steady. The white LED on them are a nice touch.

Alternatively, do you know if there is a way to turn that off? My case is blacked out and the only white thing is those LED's
 
I ordered some Vegence from New Egg. DDR4, should I switch to Dominator? It's on sale today for $5 off, not a big deal though. Thoughts?

Sadly not right now. they might come out with a program to be able to control the lighting in the future.
