I've been reading these articles speaking about microsoft making TPM v2.0 a requirement, but my current motherboard only supports TPM v1.2

So I'm wondering, if I get a 1.2 chip for my PC, will it even work with windows?

It'll be for new hardware going forward, they won't be able to package/sell windows with PCs that don't have the chip.

Doesn't mean windows 10 will stop working or be unable to install on your motherboard or anything like that

I can tell you 1.2 tpms work. We have a bunch of HPs AIO with win 10 and using bitlocker and it's working just fine
