Does the Arctic Accelero Xtreme III fit the 1080FTW?

Trying to drop the temps on my 1080FTW in my NCASE, and about to pull the trigger on this cooler, but unsure if it's compatible. Also, if I use Thermal Tape rather than the provided Thermal Epoxy for the included heatsinks would I run into any issues such as adhesive holding and temps? Would prefer a less permanent attachment just in case I decide to RMA or sell the card. That is unless the epoxy is easily removable down the line?

Here he mentions heatsink plaster, looks like something less permanent than epoxy. Anyone know what that stuff is?
