client wants to go dual monitor, he has a AIW 8500dv AGP, and has a free PCI slot.

does shuttle allow this type of setup?

thanks

duh, I totally forgot, he simply wants to retain his AIW card, and slap a cheapo ATI PCI card in there.

nice and easy. I just hope shuttle supports that...

thanks

Dual vid cards is more of a software setup. As long as both cards fit and don't pull too much power there should be no problem. So yes it should work fine.

If You want dual monitors You doo not need neccecary two grafic cards. Grafic card with two monitor connectors will do to. Actualy any newer card supports dual monitors and mostly second monitor output is integrated in DVI output. So second monitor can be DVI or with adapter one can connect normal monitor to it and use it as a second monitor. You will need also 5 minutes to set up is a monitor 2 left or right from monitor 1 and to set up is it desktop extension or clone and to setup it's resolution.
