Is there such thing as a remotely hosted service that you could route all your internet content through that would just drop the adware/spyware/viruses/spam before it even gets to you? May be a stupid question, but just wondering.

your best bet is to run a resident realtime spyware blocker. Spybot search and destroy 1.2 has whats called TeaTimer which is a realtime resident spyware blocker.

or you could just switch to mozilla and eliminate alot of the holes lol.

I know, I have mozilla and run spy bot, but i'm just wondering if something like that exists.

Yes, you could use a proxy.

But why bother? If your not on dialup, most likely a proxy will slow you down.

As mentioned, get Spybot and run teatimer..
