Does Gigabyte assign a special P/N to refurb motherboards?

I'm curious if the RMA replacement they're sending me will be new or refurb. I figure it'll be the latter, but I've been surprised before. Assuming the packaging is retail, is there a good way to check?

Look for that "new motherboard smell", which smells like burning plastic.

Not to be confused with "this has already been through the oven at least once" smell, which also smells like burning plastic.

If the packaging is retail it's new. Refurbs would come with 0 accessories.

far as i know since early 2000's any rma was refurb regardless how new the device being sent in was. i know my psu's hdds have all been refurbs since day 1. seagate at least let me know what im getting is a refurb drive but tested good.
