Does anyone here actually own an Intel Arc B580?

That's a shame. They are decent gpu's. Though I can't say I spent a lot of time gaming with it, but its been great for Plex duty.

Still getting setup for some AI playground stuff

Rather, seems to be coming in stock more frequently? Used to be every two or three days, or more, now seems every day?

I must be checking at the wrong time as I never see stock. Maybe the bots get them, but ebay doesn't show much brand variety either.

Same here... I check all the time.... never anything in stock....
These must be unicorn GPU's...

I suspect part of the problem is the supply of alternatives. NV has apparently cancelled the entire 40 series. Newegg and Best Buy are out of 4060s. Only 3rd party sellers have them on Newegg.com at the moment. Amazon wants $375 for a 4060. All three of them are also apparently out of RX 7600XTs. You can still get an RX 7600 for $260.

I've been happy with my A750 but wanted to try a faster, newer unit and stay with Intel.

Intel seems to be dropping drivers, 6647 just loaded up and the install is just a little different than what I have waitness in the past.

No interest in staying with Intel here. I want one of each to play with. Already got a B580. Somehow Microcenter was taking orders for pickup on launch day, so I just ordered one in the morning and picked it up after work. Next up is an RTX 5090 for my main rig. Then once I get that I'll be tempted to sell my 3090 and pick up some sort of AMD RX 9000 series card.

I been enjoying the B570, as I have other video cards to compare it to like the RX 6600 / RX 6700 10GB / RX 5700 / RX 580 8GB / RX 570 4GB / RTX 3070 / A770 16GB on hand.

nowinstock.net says Intel reference B580s have been in stock briefly on Amazon and B&H the last few days. Looks like they usually last around 5-6 minutes and the drops were in the middle of the day, like 10am-2pm. If this keeps up you should be able to get one with a stock tracker (nowinstock.net or whatever) if you're around to hear it go off. 5 minutes should be enough time for a manual checkout. Down side is it looks like they're marking them up to $260-270. OTOH RTX 4060s are up to $330+. I still think NV cutting 4060 production is part of why B580s are so hard to get. Strange there don't seem to be any AIB cards reported in stock since 3/12 though.

The reviews are finally coming in from buyers on newegg for the MSRP cards and keeping 5 stars from just about everyone is not going to help in you scoring one anytime soon, it seems to be hot seller and taking market shares from both AMD and Nvidia coming to the table with new 8GB cards.

I'm rolling with the A770 16GB on driver 6647 right now, Intel has that part worked out that Arc A and B use the same driver.

Still oos at B&Hphoto, but they are allowing preorders on the asrock b570 challenger now, so I put in an order.

Newegg is even making combos for the B580 now. They had an ASRock Steel Legend B580 paired up with an ASRock Challenger 650W non-modular PSU for $325.

Hey, who has a water block for these? I was thinking of adding mine to the current loop.

EKWB had one for the A750/770, but it's EoL now and probably wouldn't be compatible anyway.

Yeah, my search has been leading me to nothing so far. It's a shame. I'll keep an eye out tho.

I don't even have the extra coin to buy the B580 right now, do have a Micro Center about 90miles away now that I didn't have before but I heard they were doing mark ups as well since Nvidia got to their greedy little souls.

Yeah everything is getting marked up a bit right now. However Micro Center here did have 4-5 B580 Intel LE cards for 249.99 this weekend. They went out of stock a day or so. I reserved one but won’t end up getting it. After tax and shipping it’s close to $300 all in if I mailed it to someone who is looking.

Here is the total with tax before any shipping:

I went and picked one up there today. I also grabbed an open box b570 for $200. I may get other b580 off ya. My zip is 40336. Shoot me the total.
Thanks

If it fits in a USPS flat rate medium box it’s $19 and change. I haven’t picked it up yet but have til tomorrow store closing to do so.

Acer is sold out now and B&H says Asrock B580 is no longer available, Newegg has dropped Gunnir prices as if there's a closeout. Wonder if Intel is through with Arc, so hard to get for months too?

Probably just waiting for more from their suppliers -- the acer b570s were going in and out all day monday, I guess they just depleted their supply.

The AsRock B570 I preordered still hasn't shipped, but it hasn't been canceled either.

oop, per a b&h email I got, the asrock b580 challenger is no longer available at b&h. Maybe they're rolling out an updated sku? Hopefully asrock isn't discontinuing that model. :/

ASRock ARC cards may gone from the US market for a bit due to tariffs. The box my Steel Legend B580 came in says "made in China". OTOH I have a Steel Legend Z890 mainboard from Vietnam made late last year. That's not universal for vid cards. Zotac has a plant in Indonesia, I briefly had a made in Taiwan Gigabyte 5090 (damned thing died after 20 minutes, power connector didn't melt), and looking over the parts in my latest build the expensive bits are mostly from Taiwan or Vietnam. The big question with B580s is are any made outside of China? I have no idea.

The intel b580s are in stock on b&h. You'll have to jump on them Monday though (or maybe late Sunday night), 'cause they're closed for passover.

Looks like ASRock is joining Sparkle, Onyx and Acer in jacking up the prices of their cards. ASRock Challenger B570 is in stock for $299 on Newegg. B580 is OOS but you can bet it'll be more than the B570 next time they get some.

I'll just go ahead and blame NV for this. They cut production of 4060s ahead of the 5060 launch. They're up to ~$335 and stock is quite limited. RX 7600s are up too, $300+. I can't see AMD and Intel being able to fill the gap left by the 4060, so I bet they'll stay high until after the 5060 launches in May.

Acer B580 was still $320 last I checked on newegg. Bad, but not as bad as $300 for B570.

I've just decided I'm not getting one until the trade war simmers down or prices drop due to surplus.

Call me crazy.. but there is a "feeling" in the air... seems like everything is getting escalated with jacking up prices... It feels like all these consumer products are gouging us hard for our cash.. before what feels like a big recession upcoming..
It feels like a big cash grab before the economy takes a stinker

As what has been stated before though... basic economics... prices are going up because there is someone willing to make the transaction

I picked one up a few months ago from B&H. B&H usually have them available for about 30–40 minutes (when in stock). I got it to replace a 3080 Ti that died in a secondary PC hooked up to my TV. Haven’t installed it yet, so I can’t comment on the performance 😬
