Just wondering if X1900XT cards use 1.1ns memory like X1900XTX or a slower 1.2ns memory?

How about the X1900 Crossfire edition?

X1900 Crossfire Edition has the same clock speeds as X1900XT so whatever ram and chipset used in the X1900XT will be used with the X1900 Crossfire edition right?

Getting X1900XTX card and a X1900 Crossfire Edition will not be a good choice compared to X1900XT and X1900 Crossfire Edition?

Good question.

Only photographic evidence or manufacturers links will be good enough proof!

I have an X1900XT and it uses 1.1ns ram just like everyone else I've talked to that owns one.

Which brand?

How come Sapphire are saying that X1900XT cards are using 1.2ns and not 1.1ns.

However, does anyone know about the crossfire edition boards?

My guess is the XT should have 1.2ns and the XTX should have 1.1ns. Since we are at launch produced cards, they might all have the same chips. This might be the future reason to use the XTX for higher mem clocks.

Well I bought 2 Sapphire X1900 cards today. X1900XT and X1900 Crossfire.

I haven't opend the boxes of my X1900 cards yet but I did take a look at the invoice. I didn't check the invoice until I got home.

It says X1900XT 625mhz core and 1250 mem (Samsung 1.2ns BGA mem)

It also says X1900 Crossfire Edition 650mhz core and 1550mhz mem( Samsung 1.1ns BGA mem)

I thought Crossfire Edition had the same clocks as X1900XT????

Is it an error by the shop for inputting the clock speeds wrongly for the X1900 Crossfire Edition or are the Crossfire Edition really clocked as high as the X1900XTX?

If it is true then I will go and ask the shop to change my X1900XT to X1900XTX since I have not even opened the box yet. Good I noticed this through the invoice. Surprisingly the price difference is only $25. I think will just get it changed anyway.

If it is not true about the Crossfire Edition cards, will X1900XTX work with X1900 Crossfire Edition? Probably at downclocked speeds right?

X1900XTX will work with X1900 CF edition and the difference in clock speed makes no impact on performance in CF mode. BTW I think your invoice is wrong - the XT should be 1.1ns but if you're paranoid, then go get the XTX for $25 more.
