disabling subscriptions

Greetings...sorry for the noob question but I looked everywhere and I can't find out how to disable my "subscriptions"..I'd like to be able to just manually click my user name under the "Advanced Search" button and see what responses, if any, there are in a thread I posted in...how can I disable the subscription feature?

also is says 10 lines max for a sig and 15 words per line...but I see lots of sigs with more then 15 words a line...has that word limit been changed?...and how come I can't change the color?

and finally, I looked at the FAQ's about avatars but it doesn't mention anything about how many posts till one can post an avatar

Thanks for any and all help...and I did spend a while looking through and searching the forums but I could not find my specific answers

Subscription settings are located within your user control panel. But I turned them off for you.

Code is disabled in sigs. You can't change colors or such.

Avatars are not allowed here for anyone.


P.S. Your sig is 11 lines.
