I revised my post, meant to say the 4350 heh...
What form factor are you looking for?
Fx 6300 is only $10 more.
I need a mATX or mITX
Might go with the 4350 after looking at CPUBOSS

Do you guys think a new FM2+ Mobo would solve all my problems, or is it even worth it?
grub's a boot loader isn't it? do you dual boot Linux or something? check that no cables got knocked loose if you do
Yes it is and nope , I have never dual booted this machine.
yup just burn the whole system to purge the lenovo curse from your home, maybe a smudging ceremony too. then start fresh with a system built by your hands!
kidding aside, burn what? yeah check it hasn't tried to go raid or something.
I think your easiest solution is a $60ish fm2 board to replace the shitty Lenovo board.
The bios has zero SATA settings that I can adjust, ha. It wont stop booting into that mode. I can get out of it with exit twice, but still it shouldn't happen. Going on 8 hours of attempting to fix this issue only to make it worse.
Why are all the AM3+ mATX MOBOS only DDR3 1600 (OC). I don't want to buy new ram as well if I upgrade.
Your RAM will work fine in any of those boards![]()
only a few of the newest 970 + 990 based boards have it. but it doesn't matter anyways. a titan xp isn't even limited by pcie 2.0 x16.Why do none of the am3+ have PCIe 3.0?
people on H seriously recommending a new board instead of a solution to the problem? and shit talking lenovo? really?
Hey man by all means if you can help me with this gpu issue Ill be greatful. I think we are all out of ideas and with them not being able to actually see whats going on in person, its hard to diagnose.
But, if you have some fresh Ideas I would love to hear it.
is the BIOS setting for default video still auto? Try PEG/PCI as first priority.
