Directive to all individuals using Private Messages

This has been getting on my nerves every time that I have had a PM conversation with the vast majority of individuals here. So here is the directive:

When responding to a private message, please type your response above the other person's last response.

Here is an example if you are having a hard time with this.

That makes you and the other person have to scroll once the conversation gets longer, and the names of the people don't show next to each response.

When you quote someone in a post, their quote is on top. I think this would be 'personal preference' rather than a directive.
