I am needing to set up the ability to encrypt email messages through Outlook. I have a client that will need to start sending and receiving reports that are encrypted due to HIPAA.

The communication is only going to be between a few individuals, perhaps 2 or 3, one of which is not an internal user.

Would using Outlook and Digital Certificates be the best way to do this? If so, could I use the certs that are generated from their SBS server or should I go with a purchased cert?

HALP!

In our environment (financial organization) we use Entrust or Tumbleweed depending on the business unit. I personally have not done much work with tumbleweed, however I do enjoy entrust quite a bit because its fairly easy to roll out, and very easy to manage. We also use it as the cert for our VPN (not a big fan of this but meh).
