Is it possible (and if so how) to direct one sound source on a PC to the left ear and another sound source to the right ear of a headset? For example, a Teams meeting’s audio would be directed to the left ear of the headset and a screen reader (such as Windows Narrator) to the right ear of a headset.

No; Windows does support different applications using different sound sources (though it's near impossible to set up correctly if the application doesn't allow it), but you can't do anything like that per ear.

Some Bluetooth headsets will let you connect and use them with multiple devices simultaneously. You could pair it with a PC and a phone/tablet/laptop at the same time.

Alternatively, use one earbud with one device and another with the primary device.

The lazy solutions to improving your lazy status.

Dual coonect, multipoint, dual pairing are some of the common terms. You can game on Xbox while people drone on in a Team meeting for example.

It's not per ear, its combined. But you could make it better. Pair BT to phone and use it for teams or whatever meeting sw, wire or bt to pc, use sound lock to keep game reasonably quiet, profit.
