Did Nvidia Cancel the RTX 3080 20gb and RTX 3070 16gb

I'm hoping a 12GB variant would be priced at $799 for the base model, but that's likely wishful thinking. I expect it will depend heavily on the pricing/performance of AMD's releases.

12 GB is not really worth it over 10 GB. 16 GB seems to be what it should be, considering Big Navi is rumored to be 16 GB.

I think so as well, I would expect MSRP of $899, AIBs up to $1000. 3080 AIB's already go past $800 as it is. As for performance uplift? 5%?

Depending on the core clock, it should be very close to the 3090.

they should just release 'titan' drivers for the 3090 to create some separation. A 3080 with 16gb or more will be a few percent slower than a 3090 at most.

Well a 3080ti will be faster at everything than a 3080 20GB so not sure where it would sit then.

Let's not forget that a 1080ti often beat the beefier Titan due to clock speed.

This why it would help the 3090 a lot (to not only be faster when the 24 gb are needed but when Titan type of drivers help), that said that would make the next $2,500+ Titan hard to make if they do that, because that 3080TI will probably be faster in every gaming scenario if they make one, the 3090 could need that Titan vs 1080Ti dynamic to make sense.
