Also haven't played any of the new endgame content, so take any random feedback I have with lots of salt.

Played some crusader. I have all the classes at 70. Just something didn't feel right. Seemed like the only way to build him now is a shotgun build (after they nerfed shield throw). I
I could be wrong though.
I actually kind of wish they had kept the gold AH. RMAH was bullshit, but the gold one seemed fine. Except Blizzard taking a "cut" of your gold was bullshit as well.
I will say doing a full playthrough, from the beginning, without either AH was nice. Rather than going straight there for a socketed weapon and helm, I actually had to just play the game. I didn't feel the "pull" to go look at the AH every 10 levels or so to get a quick upgrade. And the game actually gave me upgrades without needing it.
The problem is finding a place to put them.
It's not worth rolling off a good stat to put a gem in, so unless you get a sweet roll with a socket already it's a loss. You're better off with some crit or something than the gem.
It varies by class though. Pain Enhancer on my petdoc is better than any of the item stats so far.
I can't afford to roll any of the good stats anyway since they never show up. CHD is like 1 in a million. At least the sockets are easy to find.
SoJ usually doesn't roll Crit Damage/Crit chance (you have to pick one or the other), yet it's always better than any other ring. RROG usually rolls shit, yet it is also used more than others. Crit Damage/Chance isn't always as important.
Crusaders are different though. You don't really need to use RROG. No need for any set bonus other than the Akkhan(or w/e it's called). Takes care of damage and survivability.
Anyone on tonight? I want some decent T5+ rifting buddies.
You can still get unique rewards and drops from participating. I think the primary reason I'm going to run seasonals though is to have that experience of starting the game from nothing again.I'd really like to but I'm time-limited already, wouldn't be much point in competing. Besides, still trying to get used to my cold Buriza DH build (still missing M6 Carapace)

Is seasons completely fresh i.e no shared stash?
Now all they need to do is add in some kind of talent tree, and the game would be a true successor to D2.

I hear what you guys are saying. The lack of talent progression though (also the existence of an easily attainable level cap) has always kept me from really getting into this game. Can't really put my finger on it, I know they put in the paragon level stuff, but for some reason that doesn't keep me as interested as PoE or D2 did with that extra grind for one more talent point when you're a high level. /shrug

It's the same in TQ. Most people plan builds around level 60 while the cap is 75. I think the furthest I got in TQ was 67.I hated the level cap in D2 lol, it was damned near impossible to reach!
Correct, it's like starting over, but I believe adventure mode is available from the beginning as long as you unlocked it in non-season play.
Unfortunately, this lead to the first few Asian season players reaching level 70 in under 2 hours. Don't be surprised if you see the leaders with Paragon 100 by weekend's end.
The season ladders (leaderboards) are not based on experience so it doesn't really matter. Nolifing it doesn't put you on top of the Greater Rift leaderboards, it just gives you more stats to play around with.
