Here's the rub, my friends. I'm by NO means sensitive to aliasing or screen tearing. I DO get incredibly pissed having to play a game without aniso, and DO install a lot of high-res texture packs though.
Now, since AA isn't a big deal, VRAM isn't a big deal. All I'm really dealing with are high-res textures. I need a card that'll drive a 1920x1200 monitor as fast as possible, and leave legroom to move on up to a 3x 1080p setup. Do I go the AMD route or the NVIDIA route? From reviews and info I've gathered it's looking like I'll go with the green team on this one, and snag myself either a 4gb 670 or an aftermarket cooled 680, possibly getting a second for SLI later.
Am I on the right track here?
