I'm hoping all you DFS guys might be able to help me out or point me into the right direction. The problem that I'm facing right now is that between our HQ and one of our Branch offices has a slower than slow internet connection. We have probably around 60 gigs worth of data to replicate out there.

My current plan would be to take our current file server drive and robocopy all of the data off from there to an external hard drive, fly out there with the external hard drive and robocopy every from it to the new file server at our remote location.

What I'm suck on at this point would be is the fact if I robocopy all of the stuff off from the external hard drive to this new file server will it see that there is a newer time on the file server than the existing file server and screw up a bunch of data? Any good way of doing this?
