i just ordered a 8800gt and just found out that pci express 2.0 cards have a hard time working with pci express1.0a boards.

can anyone confirm if this card works with this board?

Should be an absolute non issue, the 8800GT is backwards compatible.

with 1.1 pci express not 1.0a its hit and miss.

yes, but if they are seeing you, they are one of the hits, and not one of the misses.
if they are one of the misses, they are on their way to rma land, or from 939 land.

Had the same board running the same video card. Works really well! Recently upgraded to a C2D system, and also has PCI1.0a only works well too! It's a non issue.
