Dell Latitude CORE DUO 2 available 9/6

This may not be news but I just confirmed with Dell that the merom equiped Latitudes will be available to order on September 6th, 2006. So, d620 and d820 can be ordered on the 6th with the Core Duo 2 processor. I don't know about you all, but I'll be ordering a Latitude very soon.

Upgrade it to a merom...new bios supports them. My D620 is getting one.

LOL those are Conroe processors they are the Core 2 Duo for desktops only. The Core 2 Duo to be used in laptops is called Merom.

Boy would it have been funny had you bough one for your laptop.
