I'll never get used to that snap lol
Can't wait to see how the temps are after delid, Kyle.
Pop goes the weasle, lmao! Now lets see those temp drops and high clocks yo!
Damn it, Kyle.
All we need is a young college woman do the Delidding and I'll need to have a smoke after watching [H] Delidding videos.
This is still more satisfying to watch than All the Transformer movies combined.
N00b, [H] already had that ages ago!
Hell yeah, look at that exposed die!
I would expose that die.
If you know what I mean.
Both vids delid. Should the last one be relid?
Sick, give it hell, and show me some prime 5.2+.
Coffee lake is kinda like a slut, she goes all the way on the first date, but you still want more.
I'd love to see some phase or liquid nitrogen if anyone feels like getting frisky.
Sweet stuff, Kyle: give it hell!
I remember that shit.
Kyle_Bennett is that an anti-static mat you're working on?
Awesome, looks like the tool has come a long way since the block of wood and hammer method
Auto detailers actually AVOID paper towels when cleaning windows because they leave little fibers behind when cleaning glass. A number of them actually prefer news paper or something similar. (Oddly enough) If I were to use old newspaper, I would use one with out ink.
its a yoga mat. he mentioned it somewhere around here...
Delid chip and relax with Yoga....nice
did you not see the part where he talked about that and used a lint free cloth to finish the cleaning
I guess I did. I stand corrected. Should have known better with Kyle.
Going by that video, I'm glad I invested in a Dr. Delid for my 7700k. I wasn't even sure if it worked because there was no pop at all. It seemed comparatively gentle (it twists the lid off instead of sliding it).
It's nice to know it'll probably work with coffee lake because I couldn't find it in the US, so the investment wasn't exactly small, all things considered.
Overclocking the Intel 8600K - Delidded on Air and Water
We've gotten to spend some quality time with our Intel Core i5-8600K Coffee Lake CPU, and of course we have spent our time finding out just how far we could push the processor's clock under both Air Cooling and Water Cooling. We relid and delid as well. The results look to be very promising for the overclocking enthusiast and gamer.
Coffee filters make for a pretty good alternative.
NIce job and great write up. This is why I keep lurking here.......
Been using coffee filters for many years. Works great.
