Debian GNU/Linux has reached the ripe old age of 20 years old. The Linux OS has served as the base for many of the different flavors of Linux over the years. Happy Anniversary Big D.

But the nature of most Linux distros being maintained by fans and internet communities means that most fall by the wayside and are left half-finished or not developed to their potential. Not Debian though. And the fact that other Linux developers utilize Debian as the base for their OS makes it even more impressive.

still one of the very best....

interestingly, been seeing it eat Red Hat's lunch in the enterprise space lately, at least where I work

christ this makes feel old, i was 13 when i got off some bulletin board to try

tbh using alinux based os is so much easier these than when it did way back then

this makes me feel old as well, I really hope most distros just integrate to one core, (and it seems debian is the most prominent one out there), to ease up the linux fragmentation

You're so old and senile that you forget to write some words here and there. ;)
