ddr5 in 2018

More low volts and Increased capacity on same die? Looking forward to these. Hope they are cheaper.
 
I expect them to be more expensive for their first few years. Although I don't expect to see these in Intel or AMD systems for several years since you will need new motherboards. I mean if Intel's 10nm platform that comes out early next year does not use DDR5 then how long will it be before a new platform?
 
it will be the same routine as we had with ddr2...ddr3...ddr4...

Amazing supposed increase in bandwidth etc. etc. which boils down to the reality of 1-2FPS extra.
