DDR4 Memory buying help

personally, I've been prefering Gskill for awhile now due to cost/performance metrics. I have 2 of their DDR4 kits. Bought a 2x16gb kit last year for $114 when ram was cheap-its the 2400mhz kit but I can run it at 3000-3200 at looser timings. 3000 seems to give me best benches at the timings I run it compared to 3200mhz and somewhat looser timings. I also have their 2x8gb pc3000 mem kit. Will run 3200mhz as well. IF I was buying another kit right now this second I'd probably get a 2x8gb kit b/c memory prices have gone up so much lately. I don't see any gaming difference between 16 to 32gb. Only got the 32gb bc it was so cheap and I'm glad I have it, but again, given price points, right now I"d just get a 2x8gb kit myself unless you have some ram hungry programs. From what I hear sweet spot on Ryzen is 2600-3000mhz give or take. Pick a kit there with best timings, but from what I hear, Ryzen has problem with odd number timings ie 13,15 etc... So you'll be better off IMO looking for something like the Gskill pc2400-2600 and rated 15-15-15 timings, then loosen to 16 timings and clock it a bit for my 2cents
