Hey all, haven't built a pc in a while, need a little help. I was wondering if this was a good choice for OCing:

G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

I bought this so far:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6850
Tuniq Tower 120
Abit IP35 Pro
Geforce 8800GT

I think I read that the higher clock rate will be better for overclocking. All the ram at 800 mhz that was good for OCing seemed way more expensive. If I am making a bad choice please point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Aaron

at that price, it doesn't really make a difference, since it's one of the better deals on 2x2gb around ;)

and more headroom when overclocking is always a good thing. you can probably get away with ddr2-800, but an extra 100mhz of potential fsb headroom never hurt :p

Thanks for the answer. Sounds like a good choice then. Ordered. Appreciate the help.
